A QR code is a scannable square barcode that can encode a URL, plain text, a UPI payment request, WiFi credentials, or other short data — when scanned with a phone camera, it takes the user directly to that content without them needing to type anything. No — a QR code generated this way doesn't expire on its own; it's just an encoded image of the text/URL you entered. However, if the QR code links to a URL and that destination page is later removed or changed, the QR code will still scan fine but lead to whatever content now exists at that URL (or an error if it's gone).
For printed materials (posters, business cards, product packaging), choose 'Large' for better scan reliability from a distance. For digital use (screens, WhatsApp, social media), 'Medium' is usually sufficient.
